Tiny Dances: TRL | Song Requests

Baran Dance wants to collaborate with YOU on our next show! We are taking song requests from the Charlotte community for Tiny Dances: TRL and will select up to 10 songs to which company choreographers will create new works, premiering at Petra’s on December 7th + 8th. If your song is selected, you will receive acknowledgement on social media, credit in the program, and one complimentary ticket to the performance!
Now… what to request? We love utilizing local music and emerging artists, but that’s not a prerequisite! Got a song (or a whole playlist) in your library that you think would make a great dance? Do you know of an awesome local, regional, or national artist and would love to see a choreographic work to one of their tracks? Are YOU a musical artist whose sound is perfect for contemporary dance (or just want to find out)? Let’s hear it!
